AT&T taps Israeli startup DriveNets for cloud-native networking upgrade

Israeli cloud-native company DriveNets, which develops centralized cloud networking software, announced that its Network Cloud platform will provide the software-based core routing solution for  AT&T, one of the biggest telecommunications conglomerates in the world.

DriveNets’s Network Cloud product is cloud-native software that turns the physical network into a shared resource supporting multiple network services in the most efficient way. It runs on standard white boxes built by ODM partners like UfiSpace, which provided the white boxes to AT&T, based on the Jericho2 chipset from Broadcom.
