We’re involved in a few different project groups, firstly the OOPT and in particular the DOR aspect of that. We’re very heavily involved in the DDBR, so the distributed disaggregated backbone router
and we’ve been leading from that perspective for a number of years now. And then we’re also, as we evolve, our technology moving into Open BNG and as the ecosystem expands and as orchestration and management becomes more mature, we’re
a key player in the MUST project and program as well. Open Disaggregation is really a huge transformation for the telco customers that we have and the organizations that we’re talking to.

It really is a game changer, enables an operational transformation and it’s really about the ecosystem, the partner landscape. And that’s why we’re proud to be here with many of our peers in the industry as well as our customers because it’s a transformational stepping stone that enables them to compete on a hyperscale type of operation basis. And really, I think is at the heart of the future of connectivity and of telco and DriveNets has been at the heart of that for
many years now already. So although we’re kind of a startup mentality, we’ve been there from day one and actually we’re setting the standards before TIP enabled us to really cement that and widen that.

So yeah, we’re very excited to be part of this big transformation. It’s great to be here at fyuz, I think after so many years of connectivity playing a key role in terms of video connectivity and conferencing and getting to meet people in the flesh again, peers, partners, customers, it really is kind of an inspirational occasion where we can come together and share and help drive our mission, really, of transformation onwards.

So it’s great to be here in such a fantastic city as Madrid with my colleagues and the industry at large. fyuz is all about, I think, the melting together of different ingredients and that’s a great analogy for the transformation and the ecosystem that is what we’re at the heart of at DriveNets. But being an Englishman, I think it would be unfair for me to say anything other than fish and chips, which is probably what’s expected. But as we’re in Madrid, a classic Paella, I think, is something that is dear to my heart as well.
