The Role

We are looking for a talented, reliable, and enthusiastic Controller to join our. The role involves maintaining and improving the company's accounting and financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and controls in accordance with US GAAP and the company’s accounting policies. The Controller will be responsible for numerous functions within our fast-growing, scaling Finance department.

Responsibilities

·        Take a key role in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with the US GAAP

·        Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, and workflows across the company.

·        Control the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities, verify correctness, and reconcile accounts for period end closing.

·        Oversee foreign subsidiaries' accounting, local requirements, salaries, and financial reports.

·        Manage and support day-to-day finance activities, including accounts payable, cash flow, banking transactions, payments, banks, billing, and VAT returns.

·        Manage the payroll process in coordination with the external payroll bureau

·        Undertake ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed.

·        Work with the external auditor and prepare the annual financial statements and tax reports in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.

Requirements

·        Internship at one of the Big 4 accounting firms - a must.

·        Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with expertise in Excel and experience with inventory-related workflows. 

·        2-4 years of experience in a similar position in the hi-tech industry.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines.

·        Solid knowledge and experience with US GAAP.

·        Advanced knowledge of ERP Systems, with NetSuite being an advantage.

·        Accurate and detail-oriented with high levels of analytical and professional skills.

·        Native-level proficiency in English - a must.

·        Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
