Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to head the DAP Automation Platform team. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and maintenance of a cutting-edge automation framework that ensures robust end-to-end testing and seamless integration with our monorepo. You will manage a team of skilled engineers, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and shape the long-term automation strategy for a complex, cloud-native environment running in Azure and Kubernetes.



Requirements

  • Educational Background: BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years leading technical teams, with a proven track record of mentoring engineers and driving complex projects to completion.
  • Strong Python Skills: Expertise in Python development, particularly for automation or test frameworks, and familiarity with building Python-based microservices.
  • Cloud & Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Azure services and container orchestration (Kubernetes) for deploying, scaling, and testing distributed systems.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Demonstrated proficiency in configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), implementing IaC, and automating environment spin-ups/teardowns.
  • Workflow Engine Familiarity: Understanding of workflow orchestrators (Airflow, Temporal, or similar) and their application to large-scale automation.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience designing, testing, or managing microservices architecture, including gRPC communication, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at diagnosing complex issues in distributed environments and implementing robust solutions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Helm.
  • Knowledge of Linux internals and systems optimization.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance best practices for automation platforms.
  • Background in performance testing, including monitoring, logging, and advanced load/stress frameworks.
  • Exposure to frontend or UI automation is a plus.
