About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated PLM Configuration & item data Systems Engineer to take full ownership of our Product Lifecycle Management environment and drive excellence across our product data, workflows, and multi-system integrations.
This is a key technical role at the heart of Engineering, Product, Operations, and IT—perfect for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and designing scalable systems that support a fast-growing technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
Configuration Control
- Own and maintain the end-to-end configuration control process across all product lines.
- Ensure product data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the entire lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce best practices for BOM management, change control, documentation, and revision processes.
Full Administration of Agile PLM
- Serve as the company’s Agile PLM expert and system owner.
- Define, configure, and maintain all system infrastructure: Lifecycles, Workflows, Part types & attributes, User roles & privileges, Interfaceable attributes, EC's processes.
- Lead continuous improvements, system upgrades, validation and automation inside PLM.
Develop and Implement Part Numbering Strategy
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, and IT to define a clear, scalable, and intelligent part-numbering methodology.
- Drive company-wide adoption and ensure consistent use inside all systems.
Cross-System Integration Focal Point
- Act as the Engineering focal point for all interfaces between Agile PLM and ERP/CRM/CPQ systems (NetSuite/Sales Force/Deal hub - advantage).
- Ensure smooth and accurate synchronization of product data, items, BOMs, pricing & accounting attributes, and configuration rules.
Internal Support & Collaboration
- Provide PLM training, support, and guidance to all relevant departments.
- Translate business needs into PLM configurations and workflows.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product data quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with Agile PLM administration (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of product configuration, engineering change processes, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM/CPQ integrations (NetSuite, Salesforce, DealHub – an advantage).
- Ability to design structured systems, documentation frameworks, and scalable processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple disciplines.
- High attention to detail, ownership, and a passion for data accuracy.
