As a Cloud Architect, you will define technical specifications and architecture for R&D teams based on your experience with building SaaS platforms. You will provide guidance to multiple engineering groups around how to architect in the cloud, and provide feedback on product requirements to the product teams, create multi-tenant designs, design deployment for systems on multiple cloud providers and regions, and architect for resilience, security, scale, cost-optimization, and other cloud best practices in order to build a SaaS platform that would delight our customers.

Requirements

  • Background experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience building modern SaaS platforms as a lead or chief architect.
  • Experience with building well-architected cloud platforms.
  • Experience in designing service-oriented architectures with micro-services in mind.
  • Understanding of security best practices and meeting data compliance requirements.
  • Experience with multi-tenancy in terms of data separation, deployment lifecycle, and engineering best practices.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in building for scale and meeting IoT architecture requirements.
  • Experience working with service providers.
  • Knowledge in management protocols and data modeling (i.e YANG, gNMI, Netconf)
  • Knowledge in networking
